When it rushes over exposed rock layers or burrows under a pile of fallen trees it seems to speak in many moods.  During your exploration you will marvel at mother natures patience and how she has slowly over time created a remarkable canvas of cobalt blue water, trees, chiseled canyon walls and small pools - perfect for swimming, fishing or just relaxing.  Get away to Gila County and Explore the Wild!

Many describe the vista where U.S. 60 crosses the Salt River Canyon as the most dramatic in Arizona.  Next to the Grand Cayon there is nothing like this amazing gorge.
